Sketch, Head Honcho

Sketch died yesterday.
He was Head Honcho in his household. He was comfortable in his position. He was an old guy, and was respected as such. At least, I'd like to think so.
He also had IBD. (Irratable Bowel Disease). He was only about 13, still too young for a house cat to die.
Towards the last two weeks, I had been giving him IV fluids and bi-weekly vitamin B shots to keep him going. At the end, he was almost too think to find a place to get a needle in for treatments.
He took it all. All his treatements, all his medicines, and he never gave you a fuss about it. He loved to be around people.
Sketch is pre-deceased by sibblings Olivia and Jitter, both of whom died within the past 6 months. Sketch is joined by all the other pet angels I know: Aunt Sue, Lucy, Charlie, Sammy, Lady, Lester, Rigger, Sydney and Brisbane, Baily, Napoleon, Cuddles, Abby, Maui, Goldie, Hershey, Rocky, Brownie, Mamma, Jason, Julio, Suisa, ...
Gone, but never forgotten.
