Update on Phoebe

Phoebe's biopsy is back, and as suspected, it was definately cancer. She is healing nicely, and gets her bandages and staples out on Monday.
She is our Christmas miracle.
Merry Christmas Phoebe, may you live a long and healthy life!

Shitty Day (Literally)

It was a rainy day.
I was on my second-to-last dog walk, almost done, in front of the dog's house.
Dog pooped, I have to scoop. It's the law.
I was on my cell phone at the time I was scooping. I couldn't understand why the smell of poop was so strong.
Then I realized the bag had a hole, and it was on my hand. YUCK! Thank goodness I was in front of the dog's house. Washing my hands, the smell was not diminishing. Looking in the mirror, I realized it was also on my face as well, and also on my cell phone.

I spare you from a photo. I only include this entry because some people think my job is so freakin' wonderful. Oh, in general, it is. This is part of the downside.
Sometimes you just have to have a sense of humor.

Happy Holidays Phoebe

Phoebe has cancer, but not anymore.
Today Phoebe had surgery (at my expense) to remove her cancerous nipple. Phoebe's owner is recovering from her own medical mishaps, and couldn't afford to pay for surgery.
Hopefully both of them will help each other get back to health.
May they live long, and prosper.

Still Alive

Despite that my cats, having planned my demise if I didn't meet their demands, I am STILL ALIVE!
Maybe they realized I am the nice lady who feeds them. Maybe they realized I pay the rent, so they can continue to live in luxery. Who knows?--maybe they realized they (dare I say it?!!?) ... love me. (gasp!)

It could happen.
