On A Personal Note

Thomas was diabetic and diagnosed with liver cancer a year and a half ago. Thomas died at home on Saturday night. I held him as he took his last breath. Yesterday, Dora Huh? died. She had kidney disease, and was 21 years old. TWENTY ONE! It's been a rough week. Sleep tight, my babies. Someday we'll be together.

New Kid On The Block

Thomas in the house! Thomas in the house!

He's the new guy. He is diabetic and his previous owners didn't want to deal. They dropped him at my vet's office to be put down. Thankfully, the vet would not euthanize a cat who was otherwise healthy. In the month that Thomas lived at the vet's office, he ran all the tests, and the Thom-Cat is really pretty healthy. He just needs insulin.
I can deal, so Thomas moves in.

Live Long and Prosper, Thomas! You have a family now, that won't throw you out!
