Clue

A happy guy, Clue was a rescue dog. An emaciated pit bull, being kicked down a street, a pet shelter worked him snatched him away from his abuser. He went into a shelter until my client brought him home. Despite the abuse he had endured, he was a happy guy, so proud to walk down the street. He was happy to be outside, happy to be around other dogs, he could walk forever.
Then he got sick. Diagnosed with a huge tumor in his stomach, the doctors didn't think he'd live the week. He made it another 5 months. He had his moments, but he was pretty happy up to the end.
I last visited with him yesterday. His owner was home at the time, and said he was having trouble standing, so I walked their other dog. Clue wanted to join us, and when he couldn't, he waited at the door for our return.
He continued to deteriote, and last night got really bad.
Clue died today.
