Talking Dogs (and cats)

My name is Leslie. I am a dog walker.

This is Hershey, a chocolate lab, and one of my newest clients. Hershey has a younger brother, Montana, a goofy yellow lab. I can only assume Hershey is the smarter of the two. With age comes widsom.

Yesterday I was fixing thier dinner. They were sitting outside the kitchen door, anxious for me to let them in to munch down. That's when I heard my name being called.
"Leslie."
There were no humans anywhere to be found. Believe me, I looked. Even if I did find a human, chances were extremely high that they would have no clue as to my name.

This is not the first time a pet has talked to me.

I had a cat named Lucy. She was very talkative. One particular day, she was sitting on the bed watching me get dressed for work. These were the days before I became a pet sitter, and I was wearing a new dress to work for the first time. When I was done dressing, I asked her how I looked. Immediatly she responded with a perfect "WOW!" From that day on, that dress became known as "the dress that Lucy likes."

You can't make these things up.
